Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to practical questions. Where a detail has not been approved yet, the answer says so.

01 Registration

Who can register, and how?

Any school can register a delegation. The school advisor submits one roster per delegation for students in Grades 8–12, on the Register page. Students do not register individually, and there are no accounts to create.

What is the registration deadline?

Registration runs through 14 November 2026 (IST). The form stops accepting submissions at 00:00 IST on 15 November 2026, even in a form that is already open.

How much does it cost to attend?

Conference attendance is US$10 per competitor and US$5 per spectator. One roster can include both: for example, two competitors and one spectator total US$25. Accompanying staff do not change the student total.

How do we pay?

No payment is taken on this website. After you submit, your registration shows Payment pending, and payment instructions are sent to the school advisor separately.

Does submitting the roster confirm our places?

No. Submitting confirms that we received your registration and gives you a reference. Attendance is confirmed separately by the organisers.

What is a spectator?

Spectators attend as observers. They cannot enter competitions, choose Competitive Events or count toward team sizes.

Do we need accompanying staff?

Yes. Each delegation needs at least one named accompanying school staff member, and the submitting advisor can be that person. The school decides how many staff to bring beyond that.

How do we correct a roster after submitting?

Email 8164@gsis.ac.in and quote your registration reference. Please do not submit the roster again.

What information does the form collect?

The school and campus, its location, the advisor’s name, role, school email and phone, the names and roles of accompanying staff, and each student’s full name, grade and attendance type. The form does not ask for dates of birth, home addresses, student emails, identification documents or payment details.

What does registration include?

Inclusions have not been announced. Please do not assume that registration covers meals, travel, lodging, a workshop place or any restricted session until the organisers confirm it.
